Thursday's Child

Welcome back, foot fans!

Well I decided you all deserved another update after I shamelessly plugged my socks and underwear earlier in the week. Thank you for bearing with me with that!

So today there has been an amazing quality of light: although it's cold the daylight has been so clear and so lovely that I decided to take some shots with one of my strings of pearls. It's made it clear that I need a new digital camera though, so if anyone has any suggestions please email me! (miss.kittens.feet@gmail.com).

I can't express how much I LOVE the effect of the creamy pearls against my skin, and I adore the feeling of them lying cold across my ankles and between my toes - and even against my soles.

The pearls emphasise the shape of the ball of my foot here and they catch the light and seem to have that wonderful inner glow. Gorgeous!

Although I'm not sure about the angle of my leg here (I swear I have real ankles, everyone, not tree-trunks like they seem to be here!) I like the way the pearls sit in a little pool next to my feet. If I trap them between my soles and rub them together it feels wonderful - just like a massage.

This is just my ultimate favourite picture though! Although it's a little blurry (see what I mean about needing a new camera) I can't get enough of the shape of the pearls arching over the tops of my feet and the strand between my toes making them look really long and elegant.

What do you think, foot fans?

Signing off for the Easter weekend now - I've got a big shopping trip planned with my Mum and niece on Saturday and Sunday is my Shamelessly Eating Chocolate day but I will be back as usual early next week.

Happy Holidays!

Oh no! Snow!

BRRR! It's cold in here!

It's true what they say in Game of Thrones, apparently: winter is coming. Or, more specifically, it's here. Again. I am heartily sick of being cold now and of being snowed into my house! I feel like I should be doing housework all the time and that is just not on AT ALL. Just look at the state of my garden!

What's that all about, huh? You can't even see my poor daffodils! However it has given me the chance to do some snowy photos - if I can work up the courage to let my poor bare feet touch the white stuff. In the meantime I finally got around to photographing a pair of just gorgeous purple t-bar stilettos I bought a couple of months ago.

Aren't they lush? I love this photo because you can actually see the arch of my foot lifting away from the shoe and the white lace ankle socks are just so adorable and look awesome with the shape of the shoe.

See what I mean? Legs that go on forever are always good and so is messing with the line between sexy and innocent!

Anyway darlings I am afraid this is a bit of a brief one as I am feeling a bit under the weather but I promise you snowy feet galore tomorrow!

There's No Place Like Home

Welcome to Friday, Foot Fans!

Wow this week has gone super fast! That's what happens when you're ill for the best part of it I suppose but it still feels like I haven't done anything for the whole week. I was however quite chuffed to have lost 4.5lbs this week - more than half way to my first slimming reward of a pedicure and a new nail varnish!

It's been a bit of a long day today and I decided to relax tonight with a HUGE bottle of squash (not the same as a glass of wine I know) and a new(ish) nail polish and repaint my toenails. Not that my previous paint-job was chipped, I was just bored of the sea green and fancied something a bit more lavish! I chose a red and silver glitter, which I have only used once before, for a bit of a Dorothy-style finish.

I can't help it, I think I am part magpie! I just LOVE things which sparkle and shine and that definitely goes for my toes too!

I also rather fancied showing off the stunning new toe ring I was given as a gift: isn't it adorable? I've never had any foot or toe jewellery before so this is very exciting to me! It feels a little funny wearing it when I first put it on but I got used to it very fast and now I can't wait for summer to come so I can show off my tats and my toes and my new shiny! Hooray!

I also have a new pair of sandals to show you but as it's rather dark and gloomy outside and I wanted to take pictures of them in the long grass you will just have to wait patiently!

And now I am going to retire early to my bed and get some (much needed) beauty sleep!

Night night!

Sexy Shoe Sunday!

Happy Sunday, all!

I am currently rather poorly and so forgive me for a bit of a placeholder post: I promise I will make it all up to you later in the week when I have a photoshoot planned with a lovely friend of mine.

I've sorted out my nail varnishes (and discovered that I lack a sparkly pink - why? How?) and have taken you some shots of the most recent additions to my shoe-wardrobe!

I don't know when or why I developed a love for shoes, it just feels like I've always had it. I remember nagging my mum for a pair of black patent leather school shoes when I was in primary school. They were so shiny and I wanted them soooo much and she went mad at me for not wearing them because they hurt my feet, but I loved them anyway, and nothing much has changed! I've had three new pairs of exciting shoes added to my collection including the most wonderful and impractical purple shoes ever.

Aren't they glorious? I am so in love with them it's a little bit embarrassing. Surprisingly I can actually walk in them, although it's slightly terrifying, but I feel about a million feet tall and sexy as hell!

So recently my sister got married and I was her maid of honour, which was lovely and I was very happy to be part of her big day - but also happy to get a new pair of shoes! She's as big a shoe fiend as me so she let me pick my own pair and I found these little gems.

I'm pretty new to the concept of navy blue as something I might wear but I am being won over by it at last. These are just ideal to wear with white bobby socks in summer - perhaps with a red swing skirt to rock the nautical, 50s chic look I adore so much.

And then...the brogues. Oh, how I love brogues. To me there are very few things hotter than a girl in high heeled brogues, and a very dear friend of mine helped me feed my addiction by passing a pair which were too large for her on to me - hurrah! Joy! New shoes!  I'd never considered myself to be a brown shoes girl but god these are hot as hell, aren't they?

Looooook at the heels! They're so slender! I just can't get enough of them and they look HOT HOT HOT with my favourite pair of stockings!

Again, sorry for the placeholder post darlings, but I am so very full of cold and flu that I am just not up to much. Gorgeous shots soon to come, I promise!

Wednesday I Don't Care About You

Happy Hump Day!

WOW but I am super tired today! It's been a long day at work and my feet are feeling it. Luckily for me I had a wonderful soak in the bath when I got home from work...

(I'm loving the seafoam-green nails in the bubbles - how cute is that?)

...and eased the weight of the world from my poor, aching heels and soles. This was partly aided by some gorgeous spa foot scrub with lots of pumice in it to keep my soles nice and supple...

...and then I followed it with lashings of the matching moisturiser which I made sure to get right between my toes.

I gave myself a good foot massage - never quite the same when you do it yourself, but still good! - and paid special attention to my heels, which are definitely suffering. For a woman with a lot of shoes you'd think I own a sensible work pair, but no. To top off my little mini foot treat session I've popped on my favourite pair of super-soft white socks to help the moisturiser sink in. Finally my feet feel refreshed and I feel relaxed and nearly human again!

I like these socks particularly because they're really warm (a bonus when you don't like chilly toes) but are so thin you can just see my tattoos peeking through them - look! I loved this shot - although you can see how cluttered my dressing table is!!! - because you can see my tattoo and my toes even through the veil of the sock - neat, huh?

And now I have happy feet again, and my beautiful pussycat purring on them to keep them cosy and I am feeling terribly sleepy so I will say goodnight and sweet dreams, lovelies!

Back From The Grave...

Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...

Happy 2013, foot fans! I'm back, and better than ever! I have had a rather hectic three months so please forgive my absence. I'm now up to speed in taking new photos and fun things for you all to enjoy!

First up on your plate tonight is...wax play!

I had great fun taking this shot, and the rest of the set it is from, as a commission for my number 1 fan! I loved the feeling of the warm wax splashing on my soles and dripping in between my toes and the arty part of me loved making pretty patterns with the two colours! When it was all dry I scraped the wax off with the blade of a small knife, which tickled and scratched and felt lovely all over my feet - I can't wait to do it again with the new play knife I am having made! EEE! Excitement!

I've also been on a bit of a nail varnish buying spree of late: my favourite EVAH brand of varnish, Barry M, is on offer in Superdrug stores at the moment and I couldn't resist popping in to see what they had. I managed to get a gorgeous shade called 'Denim' (which is a really lovely blue and silver colour which is almost matte) and 'Ruby Glitter' which...well...is ruby coloured glitter, really!

Pretty, aren't they? I know the photo is terrible =P

I'm really pleased with how the denim has come up on my nails though; a really lovely deep blue which is just like blue jeans, only with a slight silver sparkle!

Lovely, isn't it? I'm very impressed! Once the 'new-shine' has worn off this one I am going to try the ruby glitter because a girl can never have too many sparkly things in her life! I think I might have to make one or two more purchases while the offer is on... perhaps a mint green? Maybe a sparkly pink? Oooh, decisions decisions!

And now, I shall love and leave you darling people with the promise of:

NEW SHOES!
NEW NAIL COLOURS!
FOOT AND TOE BONDAGE!
CUTE SOCKS!

All lined up for this glorious month of February! (That's a good deal: there's only 28 days in it!)

It's Fright Night!

Happy Hallowe'en!

I wasn't expecting to be updating tonight as I am normally busy on Wednesdays but it turns out that I have a bit of free time and so you get a bonus post - so blessed be on this Samhain or whatever you want to call it.

I got some splendid bargain creepy pants today from Tesco's for the princely sum of £1! I was most impressed, but saddened that they didn't have any scary socks or hold ups to go with them - sad times! I can't really complain as yesterday I bought three new pairs of socks from Primark, including two knee high pairs and one pair of white lace ankle socks - watch this space for evidence of them!

I spent much of the evening looking at shoes and boots online, and have found possibly the Holy Grail of shoes.

Look at them. Aren't they glorious? Look a the shiny red goodness and the polka dot bias binding. They call me, precious, oh yes. Not that I need them, but when has that ever been an issue?

So, dear readers, what's your opinion of wedge heels? Do you think they're sexy? Do you prefer a stiletto, or bare feet and the shoes in the back of the cupboard? Send me your views!

I seem to have spent a lot of time on busses in the last week or so, and therefore it seemed only sensible to take you all some shots of my feet out and about.

Sorry for the blurry cameraphone shot, but it's surprisingly difficult to take a photograph on a moving bus! I love how my tattoos look through the hold-ups, and the heart print on them is just so CUTE it almost hurts!

That's your lot for tonight I'm afraid, I'm feeling pretty grotty with the beginnings of a cold and so my poor toes are wrapped up in some of my new socks and I am heading to bed. Night night!

Vital Statistics!

Hello lovelies!

Well it's been a rather long, hard and tiring day today involving a huge amount of rather galling physical labour on my part - fiddlesticks, I say! Because I am honestly too tired to really think straight tonight I thought I might share some vital statistics about me and my feet with you all =)

Here we go!

What shoe size are you: I wear a UK size 4, which is a US 7, or a 7.5 as they seem to vary, or an European 37.

Barefoot or shoes?: Both! I like to wear pretty shoes when I can, but if I can't then I would rather be barefoot, or in cute socks!

What are your tattoos?: I have six snowflakes on my left foot and three sakura (cherry blossoms) on my right foot. The snowflakes are for my sister and the cherry blossoms are for my nana. I also have three others, and two more planned.

(the day my first three snowflakes were done - OUCH!)

What's your favourite nail varnish colour?: Purple - no question. I'm always on the market for a new purple shade =D If anyone knows of a good, matte lilac colour please, please let me know!

Are your feet ticklish?: Very. Having my feet tickled makes me squeal like a girl. Oh wait, I am a girl.

Do you like foot jewellery?: Yes, I sure do! Pictures of some of my collection to come soon!

How about boots?: I ADORE boots! I'm a bit of an old goth/punk underneath my mild-mannered exterior and I just love knee high boots! My faves of all time are these devastating beauties:

And yep...that's me wearing them!

What do you think about trampling/giantess imagery/crushing?: Well, it's not something I've done before but I am curious to try, although it might be a while before I'm not just jumping on strawberries in my kitchen! Watch this space for more news, as I do have a plan up my sleeve.

What's your favourite foot product?: Moulton Brown's Desert Bloom Intense Foot Rescue. Costs a small fortune but smells incredible!

Stuff About The Blog (and Me!)

I love the blog! Can I email you?: Sure, I love getting mails! My email address is miss.kittens.feet@gmail.com.

Do you sell used socks/shoes/stockings etc?: By negotiation only, but I am happy to provide my used bits and bobs if you like! Please send me an email and we can discuss it.

Do you have an Amazon wishlist?: Sure do! You can find it HERE!

I really want to see [this thing]. Would you take some shots like that?: Probably. Email me and I will see what I can do =)

Do you perform sexual services?: Hells no! I'm not a pro-Domme, I'm just a girl who likes her feet and has a camera and (some may say) has too much time on her hands.

Can I call you George?: ...if you like...

Let Me Share A Secret

Heya! Happy Monday!

Today I thought I'd share one of my hobbies with you all: I love Japanese rope bondage!

Okay, so actually it's not that much of a secret but it's still rather exciting, no? I started being tied about 18 months/2 years ago but have started tying (or 'rigging') myself in the last year. Because I'm feeling all excited about rope again, today's update is all about bondage!

This tie was done by my good friend (and excellent rigger) 'Dr Jon', when he was just a beginner! I loved the feeling of the rope between my toes but I also love when my ankles are tied like that and I can't wriggle or get away!

LOOOOOOOK how awesomely long and shapely my legs look in this picture!! Not to blow my own trumpet but GOSH! I thought these ties looked soooo pretty, too, kind of like the barefoot sandals you get in summer. This was my first ever self-tie, too, so I was kinda chuffed with them. I also dyed this purple rope, and the turquoise one in the image below, myself - so I am naturally rather chuffed with it.

One of the best things about shibari (another name for Japanese rope bondage) is the interesting and sometimes challenging positions you can get into. In this shot I like the stretch of my ankle and the contrast between my heeled shoe in the foreground and the sole of my bare foot in the background. See, it's art, even if it does have my arse in it!

One of the best things about shibari is the pretty pattern you get left on your skin after you've been untied. This is one of my favourite images of me, ever, shot by my darling friend 'Mr Pob', after he tied me. It's a really lovely picture, just in general, but I love the rope tracks you can see, and the cute little cock-eyed angle of my feet! Isn't it adorable?

So that's bondage for you! Full of fun and games and lots of being restricted - all good stuff! I can't wait to get tied again and make some more wonderful images for you all to enjoy.

Well, time for my bath!

Tell Me Why (I Don't Like Mondays)

EPIC FAIL!

Today is brought to you by 'I Don't Like Mondays' by The Boomtown Rats. I say that because it has been a HELL of a day and frankly I am rather glad that it's over. None of my plans for the day have come to fruition and the most productive thing I have done all day is change the background on the blog and do a small amount of tidying.

BAH!

KITTEN SMASH!

I did, however, have a lovely bath with some Johnsons Baby Bedtime Bath and am now going to drink chocolate milk and read Lord of the Rings. I shall leave you lovely lot with a quick and rather steamed up shot of a very hot and soapy foot:

The colours are a little bit messed up and it looks rather 1970s but I assure you, that IS my foot. Tomorrow I swear I will get down to some quality me time and I will make up for this rather lame posting by getting something special for you all!

Thank whoever that Monday is almost over!

Love,

Kitten xxx

p.s. - also now the text is all messed up! What on earth has happened?! It's all gone completely nuts! I've had enough of this nonsense!

Long Weekender

Hello gorgeous people!

I'm back from a weekend of gallivanting in the darkest reaches of the English countryside: lucky me! I had a wedding on Friday, so my 1950s glad-rags came out in order to show the bride not to tell me I can wear an ostentatious dress if she didn't mean it! We had a HUGE hotel room but didn't get much of a chance to take advantage of the facilities. I did, however, spend a lot of time looking at myself in the massive floor to ceiling mirrors in the dressing room. Yes, it had a dressing room!

See what I mean about ostentatious frocks? But I LOVE these little shoes! I must have had them for five or six years now but they are so comfortable and so cute that I wear them all the time - even if they do make my feet smell rather strongly! Just to the left hand side of me you can see a Corby trouser press. Can anyone tell me just why there are so many of these things in existence? Anyone?

So other than taking posey pictures of myself in mirrors I had a lovely dinner and a bit of a drink and a lot of a giggle with my partner, but we ended up getting an early night: he promptly fell asleep and I took one or two more shots of myself, all terribly pretentious of course! The last things to come off for the night were my shoes and hold-up stockings so I took these two shots, first of my stockinged foot:
I like the way you can barely see the stocking stretched between my toes! It felt so good to take my shoes off at the end of the night. Even the most comfortable shoes are torture after 12 hours in them I am sure! And after 12 hours in mine the soles of my feet were a little grubby, as you can see:

I am convinced my calves look MASSIVE in this shot but look at me selflessly putting it up for your viewing pleasure anyway! My poor soles were all swollen and red after standing up for most of the day, too!

I've never liked having to get an early start for the day - I am not a morning person! - and I slept as late as I possibly could on Saturday morning and still woke up feeling shattered! There's nothing worse than having to drag yourself out of bed when you would much rather still be sleeping but I did it, even though I had to put my heels back on while my feet were still sore. I must be a bit of a bad girl though because I could tell my stockings were the last thing off the night before...

...because shoes and underwear were left in a little pile!! Naughty kitten! I love the purple tartan lining of these shoes though so I thought I'd take a shot and show you all my shame! Oops! I then realised I had only brought the one pair of stockings with me and would have to wear them two days in a row and by the time we got home my feet hurt and smelled pretty bad, and I had ripped riiiiight through the toe of my left stocking - curses! It felt quite nice to rip it a little more with my toes though - hehehe!

I also chipped my nail polish within two days of putting it on - I am gutted! This means it's got to come off because there's nothing more annoying to me than having scruffy toenails. Tomorrow I have to be up and out the house by 7:30am to take a friend to hospital, but after that and after a good dose of housework I think I will reward myself with a nice soak in the bath and then a home pedicure!

It's Thursday, Baby!

Gooooood afternoon!

It's a delightful Thursday here at Kitten HQ. I am getting ready to go to a wedding tomorrow and so I am painting my nails to match my dress. The colours for the wedding are red, white and black and so my dress is red with white polkadots and a black underskirt. I'm wearing my favourite pair of black patent heels and although I won't be showing them off, I have painted my toenails to match! I started by giving my nails a file and a bit of a buff to make them all pretty:

I like to keep my nails quite long: I don't think hacked off toenails look pretty on anyone! I really want to get shellac one day too - it's soooo shiny! - so I like to keep my nails in good condition.

As my dress is red I've picked a red polish - not the right shade of red but I only have this one - how sad! I'd love a really bright, vibrant red though.

There we go! All pretty =D

Now I have to go and pack my clothes - but it's so cold today and my poor little tootsies are nice and warm under my duvet: I don't want to get up!

Wish me luck!

Love,

Kitten xxx

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Kitten and I love my feet!

See how pretty they are?

I love shoes and pretty nail varnishes and I like to take good care of my feet.  When it's nice and warm I love to go outside barefoot and feel my toes in the grass; I like the feeling of the dew on my feet! But there's nothing better than a nice soak in the bath so I can scrub my soles and then pop on some creamy moisturiser and a pair of little white ankle socks so my feet are nice and soft!

I ADORE my shoes, as you can see!

My goal is to have a pair in every single colour! My all time favourite pair of shoes are these:

See how adorable they are? I love shoes with straps: Mary Janes or T-bar shoes are my favourites of all time, especially if they have platforms!

My goal for this blog is to update almost every day with my socks, shoes and bare feet for you to enjoy: indoors, outdoors, in the bath getting clean and in the garden getting dirty! I hope you enjoy!

Kitten xxx
